Students and faculty who subscribe to this website have access to lessons which may provide code from multiple sources. Students may copy the code from lessons without citing the source. However, if third-party code is provided, then students ought to site it in the HTML, CSS, PHP, and/or JavaScript files.

Students and faculty will have access to the site for 2 years. A resubscribe message may be sent by PayPal after 2 years at which time you can decline or continue for an additional fee.

Students and faculty may use the textbook to learn about web design, management, and interaction, however, the work may not be used to create illegal or malicious websites or break their school’s acceptable use policies.

Students and faculty must maintain a secure password and should memorize their password to avoid being locked out after too many failed login attempts. Users will be locked out for 5 minutes after five failed login attempts or three forgot password attempts.

Security and Privacy

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. User and password information may be encrypted before it is transmitted across the network.

The author has a firm commitment to privacy. The following statement addresses the information-gathering and dissemination practices for this Web site. Your subscription to access the lessons requires your student email address, student name, and student website address. These three items are stored in a secure database. By subscribing to the website you agree to allow your name and website addresses to be posted for other students to view. Any data stored in a database will be secured with encrypted passwords. Personal data such as phone and email will not display to the public. We do not share any personal information with any third parties.

When you visit this website, it automatically collects certain information, such as: Domain, country, IP address, Browser, platform, resolution, Entrance-Exit Pages, Referrals, Date, Time, Search Terms and Search Engines. This is standard practice for websites and is not used for any purpose other than to evaluate how we can design the site to best serve your needs.
